BOLERO is an expression of the persistence and tenacity that must be valid in the social constructions we build and the paths we follow follows in life. On stage, you can see how individual expressions and gestures are strengthened and united in a collective, how we as individuals and group, sends out into the world, is amplified and hits us again. The music is aS important part of this choreography.

This choreography was originally made for Holstebro Dansekompagni in 2013.
Cultural and religious manifestations will always be present in various rituals around the world. They are celebrations of persons and mysteries, and they express religious beliefs in tribes, in societies and in communities.
The choreography is inspired by different cultures in Brazil, brazilian origins and rituals. These rituals are very much present in daily brazilian life, in gestures and manifestations of moments, in the dialogue between people. They spring from a common belief in and awareness that there is someone or something in the beyond, something bigger than us.
