Green has been used symbolically in literature and art to convey themes of growth, transformation, and rebirth. The color represents harmony, balance and vitality, in some cultures it even symbolizes luck and prosperity.
The choreography dialogues directly with aspects of the color, exploring the energy of vitality. With more than 20 dancers on stage the performance unfolds as a visual ode to the beauty and resilience of nature, in an instrumental soundtrack that celebrates rhythms and sounds from different parts of the world.
Conjuring lighter times and seeking the sweetness of the season, the female
costumes seek tones that dialogue with plants and foliage – combined in ornaments that fly. Displaying vibrantly colored flowers, the work also has a beautiful setting, which complements the audience’s experience. The work is the first signed in partnership, especially celebrating the internationally award-winning dancers and choreographers Maxmiler Junio and Caroline Rodrigues.
