In this unprecedented and contemporary version, the show brings from the original classic story the incredible music composed by Tchaikovsky and also the awakening of the first love of the main character: Clara.

The performance follows the journey of the girl who behavior is more connected and dependent on technological devices, but as the story progresses, we will witness her discovery of new ways of relating. One of those responsible for this change will be her godfather Drosselmeyer, the visionary wizard, who brings a guest on this special night who will awaken a new feeling in Clara.

“For me, it’s a dystopian future, which could even be the present”, explains Soares.

The choreographer also transformed the divertissement of the second act into a talent program, like reality shows whose formula is reproduced in several countries. Hence the subtitle: The Nuts Talent Show. The game is also a metaphor reflecting on the ‘franchise’ that the Nutcracker itself has become.

Maxmiler Junio (Cia de Dança do Palácio das Artes) ​​as Drosselmeyers and Gean Marcos (Cia Jovem de Dança de Jundiaí) as Prince.
