The Nutcracker production is a partnership with @odensesymfoniorkester and international artists, and takes place within the professional performing arts landscape that values youth development and in this context embodies the power of collaborations.

This collaboration allows for a vibrant and dynamic reinterpretation in Tchaikovsky composition, blending classical traditions with contemporary influences from across cultures.

The project’s choreography is crafted by brazilian choreographer, director and video maker @alexsoares_81

This Sunday, our duet will take to the stage again, especially for the HCA Literature Award 2024.
On October 27, the world-famous Canadian author Margaret Atwood will be coming to Odense to receive the prestigious HCA Literature Award. Margaret Atwood has written countless books and is one of the world's best-selling authors among her many works is "The Handmaid's Tale". We are so happy to be part of the event.

The Nutcracker by @odensesymfoniorkester , in part

The Nutcracker by @odensesymfoniorkester , in partnership with @koma.ballet and international artists
is a full-scale production, bringing to the stage more than 25 dancers, with a cast of prominent artists from Denmark, Greece and Brazil.
The collaboration allows for a rich dialogue between tradition and innovation, offering both the dancers and the audience a unique interpretation of the beloved classic.

The show brings from the original classic story the incredible music composed by Tchaikovsky and also the awakening of the first love of the main character: Clara.
The performance follows the journey of the girl whose behavior is more connected and dependent on technological devices, but as the story progresses, we will witness her discovery of new ways of relating.

“For me, it's a dystopian future, which could even be the present", explains Soares, the guest choreographer and video maker. @alexsoares_81
