H.C.Andersen’s journey through the botanical universe is rich in detail, but we know that the author’s diverse knowledge expands even further. His longtime passion for dance makes it essential to find this form of expression within the BLOMSTERFESTIVAL, which explore the senser in his theme. To bring the senses to life, Det Kongelige Teater Balletskolen and AMOK bring more than 20 dancers from the DANSEGRUNDUDDANNELSE to the stage, in an unprecedented dance master piece, made especially for the H.C. Andersen Festival. A dance piece that displays the richness and contrasts in a vibrant way, connecting the poetic of the movement to an emotional soundtrack. To provide an experience that add all the senses, the hymn GLORIA, composed by Antonio Vivaldi as the show’s soundtrack.
