The young dance company, made up of a select and promising cast, takes the Amfipladsen Stage to narrate through virtuous movements the dynamics between rational and emotional choices.
The work, which has an exclusively written soundtrack, signed by the Danish violist and composer Andreas Bernitt, makes the threads from the start, in a remarkable soundtrack that mainly uses stringed instruments, integrating the nuances to make the performance an art experience.
To compose with the scene, a piece of art more than 3 meters high shares the stage with the dancers, using metaphors that are placed between gravity, limits and the expansion of the strings.
The piece speaks directly to the timeless dilemmas between choices, impositions and liberty, exploring the inherent desire in us to find a path that makes us go beyond the pattern’
At this point it’s already possible to connect that the work does not premiere at Brandts by chance, a cautious eye was placed on the trajectory of the museum, to unfold what comes to be TRAD.
It’s like the weaving of times, which unites all the threads to be exactly here and now.
It was a great honor to put TRAD on the stage in the home town of H.C. Andersen’s.
